Biography

Dr. José García holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. García is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He teaches courses in the Bilingual/ESL and Urban Education Programs and currently serves as Junior Year lead in the Urban Education Leadership Team. Dr. García is a former bilingual elementary school teacher.
