Biography

Callie Lowenstein is a bilingual educator with over fifteen years of experience in research and classroom practice across the US and around the world. She was a teacher leader for seven years in dual language public schools in NYC, Oakland, and Washington, DC. Beyond the classroom, Callie spent several years working in international education program development and research in South Asia, West Africa, and Latin America, and in US teacher preparation, supporting programs from Texas to Alaska to align their programs to recent cognitive research on learning through a social justice lens.
