Biography

I am a senior at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA, where I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in health physics. I have been an intern with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA, since April 2024 as part of their Radiological Materials group. I am involved with research regarding the processing and vitrification of legacy nuclear waste from the Hanford site. Ongoing projects I work on involve the formulation and testing of simulant nuclear waste feeds, nuclear waste glasses, and archaeological analogues for nuclear waste glasses.
