Biography

Elliott holds a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the department of Engineering Physics at McMaster University. His research focused on optimizing, on a cost basis, the salt composition and key geometric parameters of Molten Salt Reactor design concepts. In industry, Elliott has been with Hatch for just over two years. In that time, he has supported several diverse projects, often with a focus on decommissioning. These include a waste removal study for a shut down, early-stage CANDU generating station, decommissioning plans for a DGR, and modelling tritium migration and decay in concrete.
