Sol-Chan Han is a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Nuclear and Quantum Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). His research has focused on the safe disposal and management of nuclear waste. It includes developing reactive transport models for the performance assessment of nuclear waste repositories and developing remediation strategies for contaminated sites. He has also developed several sorption modeling codes, including a machine learning-based sorption prediction code and a community data-based surface complexation reaction constant estimation code.
