Dr. Jenny E. Zenobio is an Environmental Chemist and Ecotoxicologist at Jacobs, specializing in emerging contaminants. Her interdisciplinary research spans engineering, toxicology, chemistry, and nanotechnology. Previously, she was a Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine, studying the role of microplastics as PFAS transport vectors affecting plant and soil health. Dr. Zenobio earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from Purdue and Harvard University, focusing on in-situ PFAS degradation technologies, and completed her M.Sc. in Environmental Toxicology at Purdue and B.Sc. in Sanitary Engineering at the National University of Engineering in Peru.
