Biography

Fangfei Liu is a PhD candidate in environmental engineering at Vanderbilt University. She obtained a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Nankai University, China. Her research focuses on the development and interpretation of characteristic-based leaching methods for soils containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Fangfei also serves as one of two outreach chairs on Consortium for Risk Evaluation with Stakeholder Participation (CRESP) Early Career Program leadership committee.
