Biography

Olivia M. Blackmon is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of expertise in critical infrastructure, regional innovation, and partnership development in nuclear energy. Currently serving as the Director of the ORAU STEM Accelerator and Partnership for Nuclear Energy, she leads national initiatives to enhance the United States' leadership in STEM education and workforce development within the nuclear sector. Dr. Blackmon holds both a doctoral and master’s degree in Sociology from George Mason University and has been a fellow at Harvard University’s Education Writers Association. Her extensive experience includes managing over $200M in programs for various federal agencies, focusing on international energy infrastructure, education, training and workforce development.
