Biography

Janelle Wassing is a Business Systems Analyst at Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure, where she leads AI initiatives for Projects Engineering and the Chief Technology Office. She began her career as a summer intern with the Software Development & Maintenance team and soon transitioned to a co-op intern role with the Chief Technology Office. After graduating in 2023 with a degree in Information Technology, Janelle accepted a full-time position with the Chief Technology Office. With nearly two years of experience, she has become a key contributor to the Artificial Intelligence Working Group, which explores AI solutions for the H2C workforce.
