Biography

Harvey Cohen, PhD, PG is a Principal Hydrogeologist with S.S. Papadopulos & Associates in Rockville, Maryland. He leads water resources and environmental management projects addressing site investigation and remediation, brownfields redevelopment, and risk-based corrective action. He completed the first-ever comprehensive environmental assessment of Cyprus’ largest copper mining and mineral processing complex, and recently led the design and implementation of Corrective Measures for Soil and Groundwater Contamination at the former Bannister Federal Complex in Kansas City, Missouri. Much of Dr. Cohen's current work is focused on the delineation and evalutaion fo PFAS contamination in soil and groundwater.
