Biography

Lauren began working in the Nuclear industry in 2021, with a year-long industrial placement at DBD as a student. Following this, Lauren graduated from the University of Manchester in 2023 with a MEng in Chemical Engineering and joined DBD permanently as a Modelling Engineer. In this role, Lauren has developed models to optimize the lifecycle of site cleanup for various sites across the US, as well as producing transport and logistics models for nuclear waste.
