Biography

I am an expert on radioactive waste management at Fortum in Finland. I have a long background working with nuclear energy related topics ranging from liquid waste purification to radioecology, severe nuclear accidents and nuclear safety. My educational background is in nuclear and radiochemistry, and I have years of hands on experience in the laboratory environment conducting research and teaching young nuclear professionals at university level. Recently, I have changed my positions from academia and research to industry where I get to utilize my knowhow and experience to solve waste management challenges in nuclear facilities all over the world.
