CERN/University of Vienna
I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria. I went to school there and pursued my University education at the University of Vienna (Master in Physics). Currently I am a doctoral student at CERN (still affiliated with the University of Vienna), working to pursue my PhD in Physics. During my studies I was already specializing in nuclear physics and radioactivity through elective subjects. At CERN I am in radiation protection, more specific, in the characterization of radioactive waste produced in the high energy particle accelerators, which is also the broader topic of my PhD thesis.
