Biography

Dr. Shehee is a Scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory with interests that lie in the chemistry of actinides with a focus on transuranic actinides. Most recently, Dr. Shehee has been the work package manager for SRNL’s support of the HALEU feedstock preparation where he oversaw the sample analysis and flowsheet development for the downblending of current HEU stock to HALEU specifications. This included direct interaction with the fuel fabricator to set up a specification for this solution. The SRNL also has worked with the license owner for the desired shipping package package to revise the license to accommodate the HALEU nitrate solutions.
