Canadian Nuclear Laboratories
German Cota is a research scientist in Advanced Fuels and Reactor Physics (AFRP) Branch at the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL). He holds BEng, MSc and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering. He has been with CNL for more than 18 years. He is the head of the Plasma Technology Laboratory in AFRP Branch. He is currently the technical lead of the CNL’s Long Term Spent Fuel Wet Storage Experiment. He is also the technical lead of various plasma-related projects, and the metal hydriding project by the Low Pressure Gaseous Hydriding. He is leading several commercial projects related to spent fuel reprocessing.
