Mason Scott Walls is a graduate student in the Nuclear Engineering Department at Texas A&M University, working part-time with the Used Fuel Management group at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). His primary interest in the field is sustainability. His work for INL currently focuses on reactor equipment removal and disposal of activated materials in nuclear experiments. For his ongoing dissertation work, he is investigating artificial intelligence applications in nuclear engineering, focused on the identification of methodologies to improve safety and security at nuclear facilities.
