Biography

I am a physicist and I work since 2019 for the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in Ispra (Italy). During my career, I carried-out research in physics of the atmosphere, aerosol physics, X-ray spectrometry and Chemometrics at the University of Milan and at the European Commission Joint Research Centre. In my work I am focused on non-destructive assay methods for nuclear safeguards and radioactive waste characterization, including the development of new experimental techniques, notably using gamma-ray spectrometry and neutron techniques.
