Biography

Peter Schwark is a licensing specialist dedicated to helping CNL obtain an operating licence for Canada’s first nuclear waste disposal facility. He has been working in the nuclear industry for over 20 years largely in reactor operations, waste remediation, and commissioning. A mechanical engineer by training, Peter combines operational experience and Canadian regulatory knowledge to help CNL achieve its mandate of successful management of legacy waste. Prior to joining CNL, Peter retired from the Canadian Navy having spent 13 years sailing around the world.
