CEA
After her master’s degree in environmental management, Beatrice CHVEDER-GNANA focused on nuclear safety for about ten years (for nuclear fuel manufacturing, nuclear waste management and dismantling operations). During this period, she joined the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energy Commission (CEA) in 2012. She then evolved to lead a chemical and radiochemical analysis laboratory during 4 years before moving recently toward project management. She is now in charge of a project named LEFCA. The objective of this project is to meet the needs of the CEA’s clean-up and dismantling programmes by treating unemployed radioactive substances and, soon, special radioactive waste.
