Biography

Michael Rahmig has a wide scope experience in the field of radioactive waste disposal with main focus on numerical simulations and development of material models. He has been working within the BGE Group (formerly DBE) and its subsidiary BGE TECHNOLOGY for almost 9 years. He has worked on the German geological disposal projects in rock salt and clay. He has evaluated measurements from geotechnical measurement systems, carried out numerical simulations related to the repositories and worked on international research projects on the mechanics of crushed salt. He also has expertise in analysing large amounts of data.
