Biography

KHALIL GHALEB, PhD Senior Expert in Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Chemical processes in the nuclear industry. He has 20 years of experience in uranium chemistry, nuclear fuel, nuclear fuel reprocessing, and decommissioning in the U.S. and France. Obtained his PhD from the University of Lyon – France in 2005 and worked for the Atomic Energy Commission in France. He joined Orano as a junior engineer and led several projects at their La Hague plant. He moved to the US to serve as Deputy Manager of the MOX project laboratory team and later as design manager for new chemical processes. He is currently an advisory scientist/engineer working on OFS' DOE projects.
