Biography

Zac Champion is a Chemical Engineer in the LEAD Rotational Engineering Program working for Hanford Tank Waste Operations and Closure (H2C) at the Hanford Site. After graduating from Washington State University in 2023, Zac began working in Waste Feed Delivery & Operations Planning. In April 2024, he joined Process & Integrity Engineering for his first rotation in the program. In this new role, he worked with operations to support retrieval completion of Tank 241-AX-101. Zac is currently in Single-Shell Tank Retrievals Engineering where he supports the preparation and operation of the retrieval of single-shell tanks.
