Biography

Melany Mini is the Sludge Batch Coordinator for Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), the Liquid Waste contractor at the Savannah River Site (SRS). Sludge is a form of legacy nuclear waste that is treated and dispositioned by SRMC. As Sludge Batch Coordinator, she is responsible for managing the sludge batch project schedule and related sludge batch compilation and qualification activities. Melany grew up in Tampa FL and earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Florida. Her strong suits include effective technical communication, strategic thinking, and innovative problem solving.
