Biography

Larissa Friedenberg holds a Master in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig. She is working as research associate at GRS (Germany) since 2018. Her competence lies in the THM-coupled numerical modelling of near field processes in deep geological repositories. Her work includes investigations on backfill materials for different kind of host rocks, like crushed salt where she is the project coordinator of the international MEASURES project and bentonite where she is the lead of the Sandwich task in the international DECOVALEX project.
