Biography

Vaibhav Sharma is a former United States Naval Officer with over 5 years of experience in Naval maritime operations. He initially served as the Communications Officer onboard the surface warship USS MASON, managing the ship's telecommunications suite vital for successful mission readiness and operations at sea. He then served as a Nuclear Engineering Officer onboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS CARL VINSON. During this time, he supervised engineering operations, maintenance, and testing in the ship's nuclear power plant. He now serves as an integral member of the core engineering team at Deep Isolation, which pioneers directional borehole drilling technology to permanently dispose of nuclear waste.
