Biography

Dr. Junhua Jiang (Collaborator) is a Fellow scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory. His current work involves the analysis, processing, and sequestration of nuclear wastes including spent nuclear fuels (SNFs). Prior to that, he had worked with Idaho National Laboratory on the manufacturing and qualification of TREAT and TRISO nuclear fuels, irradiation and post-irradiation of nuclear materials, materials degradation and integrity, advanced manufacturing and processing, surface engineering and lightweight energy materials, and advanced nuclear concepts. Further prior to that, he had worked with several US academic and industrial organizations on fuel cells and hydrogen technologies, energy storage, nanomaterials, electrochemical sensors, waste utilization, green chemistry processes, and wastewater treatment.
