Biography

JohnDavid (JD) Nance is the Hazardous Waste Bureau Chief of the New Mexico Environment Department. He oversees and implements regulatory authority for Permitted Facilities and TSDFs under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, NM Hazardous Waste Act, and applicable regulations in the New Mexico Administrative code. Prior to joining NMED, Mr. Nance worked for over 15 years at several environmental consulting firms. He is a certified Project Management Professional who served as a Project/Program Manager overseeing multi-million-dollar site characterization and remediation projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Army, US Air Force, and several privately owned organizations.
