Biography

Dr. Kelly Beierschmitt is the President and General Manager for PanTeXas Deterrence, LLC, the managing and operating contractor for the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. In this role he leads all aspects of the PXD team. He began his career with 12 years of experience at Pantex. Throughout his more than 40 years of leadership experience at U.S. Department of Energy and NNSA facilities and laboratories, Beierschmitt has proven his ability to achieve mission objectives in complex, high-hazard environments with multiple high-priority, concurrent missions. In his most recent position at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Beierschmitt led seven directorates responsible for a staff of over 8,800.
