Biography

Nicole LeBlanc is the Manager of Communications and Engagement at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), overseeing public and Indigenous engagement to support CNL’s Environmental Remediation Management (ERM) mission. A graduate of the University of Victoria, Nicole has worked at AECL, now CNL, for almost two decades. She is dedicated to building strong, trust-based relationships with local Indigenous nations, communities and organizations. She has focused the last nine years on engaging with Indigenous peoples on CNL’s Near Surface Disposal Facility (NSDF) Project. Nicole is a community member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation.
