Biography

Mr. Hirokazu Yahaba is in charge of managing the Temporary Cask Custody area and examination of fuel removal operations at Unit 2. He joined TEPCO in 2015 after the Fukushima Daiichi accident, and experienced the maintenance of nuclear reactor at Fukushima Daini NPP. In 2018, he was transferred to the FDEC and had been in charge of supporting the entire Decommissioning Project. Since 2022,he has been in charge of fuel removal.
