Biography

Mark Chapman is a senior director for Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, with responsibility for leading CNL’s used fuel and waste strategy programs. Mark is a professional engineer and has more than 29 years of nuclear experience in Canada and internationally. He has successfully planned, executed, and closed out many complex projects that have permanently dispositioned some of the most challenging nuclear materials in Canada. He has received numerous awards for his leadership of several HEU Repatriation Projects. Mark currently leads a large, multi-disciplinary team of professionals responsible for fuel transportation, infrastructure, and technical planning projects across CNL.
