Biography

Ilkka Poikolainen has a diverse executive level background from final disposal of spent nuclear fuel to forest industries (pulp, packaging, paper, corrugated medium/fluting, cartonboard, sawmills/timber and label). During career Poikolainen has taken care of several P&L responsibilities and strategy development, overseen corporation’s operations, multi-site development and operational functions at corporation level e.g. asset management and portfolio, production performance, M&A experience, strategical and change management projects, harmonization management /unified operations, development of maintenance, equipment technology etc.
