Biography

Mario Pieries is an Associate and Global Director, Nuclear for Hatch Ltd. For the past 18 years Mario has managed and executed large scale EPCM projects in the nuclear and oil and gas sectors. Most recently acting as the X-energy Project Manager for the US DOE Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program deployment at Dow’s Seadrift site. Mario has spanned roles in consulting, engineering management, and project management. Mario earned his chemical engineering degree at McMaster University, and a Master’s in Engineering at Ontario Tech University and is a member of the Project Management Institute and Professional Engineers of Ontario.
