Biography

Justin Galbraith is the Chief Systems Engineer for the Inertial Fusion Energy Institutional Initiative at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). An employee at LLNL and member of its Laser Program for nearly 15 years, he has served on several projects in support of the National Ignition Facility (NIF), the world's most energetic laser. Justin’s research interests include fusion energy systems modeling, trade studies, techno-economic optimization, and risk reduction, as well as high average and peak power laser systems. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics.
