Biography
After receiving two bachelor's degrees from Clemson University, one in physics and the other in education, I taught science to ninth graders for two and a half years. I then came to Georgia Tech to pursue a PhD in nuclear engineering and medical physics. Due to the materials research I conducted while at Clemson, I found a place researching the use of nanomaterials for chemical sensing.
