Biography

Vivian Castillo is an undergraduate Student Research Assistant at Florida International University, working as part of the MSIPP under the mentorship of Dr. Ravi Gudavalli. She is expected to graduate in the Fall of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. Her professional interests include bioremediation, ecological restoration, and project management. Vivian also participates as an undergraduate teaching fellow as part of FIU’s CREED2 program where she works with local high school teachers to co-develop culturally responsive engineering lessons.
