Biography

Jim Goodell is editor and co-author of Learning Engineering Toolkit, co-author of “Student-Centered Learning: Functional Requirements for Integrated Systems to Optimize Learning” and Chair of the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee. He is founder of INFERable, a Public Benefit Corporation. He is a consultant to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s T3 Innovation Network and leads Architecture and Development for the Jobs and Employment Data Exchange (JEDx). He co-led development of the Learning and Employment Record (LER) Wrapper Specification. He also served as a judge for the XPRIZE Digital Learning Challenge. He was previously Director of Innovation at QIP where he led development of the U.S. Department of Education sponsored Common Education Data Standards (CEDS).
