Dr. Nicole Leach is an educational leader focused on serving multilingual learners. She has served in various roles at the local and state level within Indiana. She currently serves as the EL Director in Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in Columbus, Indiana.
Nicole has a B.A. in Secondary English Education and Secondary Spanish Education from the University of Indianapolis. She has an M.A in Language, Literacy, and Culture from Indiana University and a Dual Language Bilingual Education Certificate from Purdue University. She has her EdD in Educational Leadership from Indiana University and completed her dissertation around the topic of equity in a new dual language program. Nicole serves as a board member for the National Association of English Learner Program Administrators (NAELPA) and INTESOL and as a Member-at-Large for TESOL International. In 2021, she received the National Network for Early Language Learning (NNELL) Award for Outstanding Support of Early Second Language Learning.
