Biography

Mariela Ingledew is an EC-12 Certified Literacy Specialist with more than 20 years of educational experience. She holds a B.A. in Bilingual Education/Interdisciplinary Studies from Houston Christian University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Literacy from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has worked as a dual language teacher, reading interventionist, bilingual facilitator, and Curriculum and Instruction Leader. Her expertise includes coaching, biliteracy curriculum design, and professional development within one of Houston’s largest districts. Mariela is also a national presenter, subject matter expert, and multilingual specialist with Learning Without Tears.
