Biography

I completed undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary in 2000 followed by a Ph.D. (Geology) at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2006, focussed on the regional geology just north of the Voisey's Bay Ni deposit. In 2007, I joined the University of Johannesburg (South Africa) to complete a post-doctoral research program on the geometallurgy of the UG2 chromitite. I worked as a regional mapper with the Council for Geoscience (South Africa) from 2009-2010 then joined Vancouver-based Equity Exploration Consultants as a project geologist in 2011. Since 2011, I have managed over 100,000 m of drilling in early- to advanced-stage projects in BC, Quebec, Yukon, and Brazil, and am currently a Partner and Director of Geoscience responsible for managing and improving our technical and project management systems.
