Biography

Philipp Leo is a trusted advisor to government agencies and organizations worldwide and a proven expert in cyber risks and digitization. He combines technical expertise with extensive experience in business, administration, and defense. As an international speaker, he discusses the digitalization of state and society, focusing on strategic information security and digital resilience. He holds master’s degrees from the University of Zurich in Economics and the University of Basel in Philanthropy and is an alumnus of the Marshall Center. He has held leadership roles in consulting, banking, and media. Currently, he is Managing Partner at Leo & Muhly Cyber Advisory, teaches at the Swiss Armed Forces' Cyber Academy, and serves as acting president of the Swiss Officers’ Association of Cyber. He is part of EUROPOL’s expert network, lectures at the Universities of Glasgow and Zurich, has been published in renowned journals, and served as UN delegate on the inter-Korean border.
