Biography

Vera Chefranova is an Associate Director in Protiviti, one of the leading consulting firms in North America. Vera is an accomplished leader with over 11 years of experience in public accounting and consulting with a focus on mining and metals industry. Vera is a Mining Industry Lead in Protiviti Toronto office. She also leads the business process team in the Internal Audit and Financial Advisory practice in Toronto. Prior to joining Protiviti Vera held a Senior Manager position in KPMG LLP Energy and Natural Resource Toronto practice. During her career Vera serviced Canadian and global mining companies including, IAMGOLD Corporation, Impala Canada, Seabridge Gold, Wallbridge Mining, Mangazeya Mining, Neo Performance Materials, and UC Rusal Plc. Vera is a charted professional accountant in Ontario (CPA) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). Vera offers technical expertise in financial reporting and accounting, internal controls over financial reporting and SOX compliance together with deep industry expertise. In 2007, Vera was awarded an opportunity to participate in a study abroad academic program in Williams College, Massachusetts, USA.
