Biography

Mr. Vivas has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Ernesto graduated from the University of Arizona in 2000 with a B.S. in Mining Engineering. After graduation, he worked in mine operations and consulting firms. Prior to joining Hexagon, Ernesto was a certified floodplain manager for the state of Arizona, as he worked in numerous consulting projects involving drainage design, plans, and permits. Since joining Hexagon in 2005, Ernesto has been involved with mine planning, evaluation and design through technical support, implementations, training and consulting services. During his tenure with Hexagon, Ernesto has traveled extensively throughout the world and has been involved in hundreds of projects
