Biography

With a deep passion for education and student success, Rebecca Morton has dedicated several years to the classroom as both a general education teacher and a multilingual learner instructor. Holding a master’s degree in Special Education and Instructional Leadership, Rebecca prioritizes supporting educators and students in achieving their full potential. Committed to fostering inclusive and effective learning environments, Rebecca actively contributes to district initiatives, helping to shape equitable and responsive educational practices. Currently, Rebecca serves as an Assistant Principal in a K-5 school and supports the Multilingual Programs at Crystal Lake School District 47, where she is focused on working collaboratively with staff to implement asset-based approaches that recognize and build upon the strengths of all students.
