Biography

Mr. McDonald is Senior Technical Leader for Hydrogeology and Modeling at HDR and is an HDR Fellow. He is a hydrogeologist with 39 years of experience and has a BS in Geology Kent State University and a MEng in Systems Engineering from Penn State University. Shane is a licensed Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania and New York and is a Certified Professional Geologist by the American Insititute of Professional Geologists. He currently serves on the Scientist and Engineers Section Board of the National Ground Water Association. Shane has worked on sediment sites throughout his career with a focus on groundwater-surface water interface issues.
