Biography

Giovanna Pagnozzi is a Professional staff at Geosyntec Consultants based in Seattle, WA. Her work focuses on remedial investigation to assess nature and the extent of contamination at impacted sediment sites. Her areas of expertise include biological natural attenuation in sediment capping, fate and transport of organic contaminants in sediment, activated carbon amendments, microbial ecology, modeling and multivariate data analysis. She earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Texas Tech University in August 2020, an MS in Civil Engineering (Texas Tech University, 2018, Lubbock, TX) and in Biotechnology (University of Naples, 2012, Napoli, Italy).
