Biography

Renée Royer completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering in Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, in Province of Quebec. She worked in mining industry for Iamgold and Xstrata during 15 years in different positions such as coordinator of mining geology, ground control engineer, production supervisor and coordinator of mining development. Recently, she completed a Master’s Degree in Project Management at Université du Québec en Outaouais. She works for CanmetMINING since 2015, as a ground control engineer in the Laboratory of Ground Control and Rock Mechanics in Bell Corners, Ottawa.
