Biography

Ken Schroeder P.Eng. – Digital Product Manager Epiroc. Mr. Schroeder is a highly regarded 20 year champion on the design, implementation and execution of Operational Excellence systems; the last 12 years in mining specifically. He was an employee of Vale Base Metals from 2008-2012 in the corporate Operational Excellence Department, subsequently leveraging this experience and background into a successful consulting business over a five year period; resource clients including Cliff’s Natural Resources, Cenovus Energy, Barrick,BHP, and TransAlta Power. He is currently Digital Product Manager with Epiroc, representing the Mobilaris Mining Intelligence system. A core belief of Mr. Schroeder is that underground digital technology is an enabler to a high functioning operational excellence system – whose key function is to bring stability to mining processes. Mr. Schroeder is a Chemical Engineering graduate from Queen’s University, and also holds a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Western Ontario.
