Biography

Allan Moss has some 50 years of experience in the mining industry. For the last 20 years Allan has been almost exclusively engaged with caving operations and projects as a General Manager with Rio Tinto's Copper Group and, since retiring from Rio, as an independent technical advisor on caving. Of note is his 20 year ongoing involvement with Grasberg operations in Indonesia and with Newcrest through chairing their Caving Advisory Panel. Allan alos lectures in caving at UBC and chairs the International Caving Research Network.
