Vanderbilt Eye Institute
Joshua L. Robinson, OD, FAAO, serves as
the director of the Low Vision Rehabilitation
service at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute. His
practice combines adaptive tools and lenses
with rehabilitative training to empower
individuals with permanent vision loss to
meet their goals. Dr. Robinson graduated from
Indiana University and earned his Doctor of
Optometry degree from the Illinois College
of Optometry. He completed the Low Vision
Rehabilitation and Ocular Disease residency
program through the Illinois Eye Institute,
The Chicago Lighthouse and the Spectrios
Institute for Low Vision. Dr. Robinson
is a Fellow of the American Academy of
Optometry, as well as a Clinical Diplomate in
the Academy’s Low Vision Section.
